Robbie and Murray grew up in South Carolina. They met and married in 1984. Robbie graduated with a degree in civil engineering from Clemson University. Murray graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina with a degree in occupational therapy.

They have worked with short-term mission teams around the world. Murray went to China in 1996 with a team to work in an orphanage. This led to the adoption of their Chinese daughter, Mika.

Robbie's background in marketing, construction, and engineering has allowed him to use his skills on the mission field to provide homes for the needy. On a recent trip into Nicaragua, he was burdened with the tremendous spiritual and physical needs of the Nicaraguan people and sought God's will to return and serve there with his family. Robbie and Murray will share the gospel while providing housing, food, clothing, medical care, and coordination of short-term teams.

Their efforts in these mercy ministries are designed to lay the groundwork for a team whose goal will be to plant churches in Nicaragua. Consider how God might have you join with them to bring relief and the gospel to the people of Nicaragua.
