There was a worm in the cauliflower! I mean it was a caterpillar cooked up and served right on Deanna's plate! She protested quite expressively of course. I was a little sickened by it too, but Roger, who isn't crazy about cauliflower, insisted that the whole pot of cauliflower was just fine and we should ditch Deanna's plate. It was boiled. (Is he a missionary kid or what?!) I told Roger that I just didn't have any appetite for the vegetable now and wouldn't make the children eat it either. How many legs might be loose in the pot? The children and I threw out our servings. Roger did too. When I looked surprised, he said, "Well, if y'all don't have to eat caulifower then I don't either." Other than worms in the cauliflower our life has been fairly uneventful. We continue to enjoy seeing our family and friends. Their lives, like ours, rarely resembles the perfection we strive for, but being able to struggle through with our loved ones is a huge blessing. The lines have indeed fallen in pleasant places. Our schedule for the next three months is listed below. We have very few openings for visits, but are anxious to make sure we see everyone we can. If you are interested in a visit at your church or otherwise, please write and we will do our very best to come. It really is pure pleasure to be with you and to share what God is doing in our lives and in Chile. Know of our prayers for you all tonight! Laura Dye for Roger and the kids
