Dear brothers and sisters in Christ:
I trust you have had a wonderful Christmas season with family and
church celebrating God's wonderful Grace in making us his children through
our Savior Jesus Christ.
Family: We enjoyed getting together with the Lutz's in Philadelphia for
Christmas and the Cranes here for New Years. My mother is doing well and
it is good to be able to see her often while here in Lancaster. Keep
praying for her as she struggles with times of loneliness as is most
natural. Susana (freshman) and Janette (senior) are both back at Covenant
College, after enjoying a good break here with the family. Daniel has
adjusted very well to US schooling getting A's in all his subjects and
enjoying soccer even into the night at a local indoor field. Robyn and I
are exercising every morning to try to take off the extra pounds those
Christmas goodies put on us.
This winter and spring I am traveling to our supporting churches quite
extensively, reporting on our work in Chile over the past years, and what
God is calling us to do in this new season of ministry. Our Itineration
schedule, so far, is the following:

January 26 Murrysville Community and Calvin PCA in Pittsburgh

Poconos. I have been asked to give two talks related to the family to
Hispanic pastors and leaders
April 7-13 Cuba. I will teach an intensive course in Pastoral Psychology
to approximately 150 students enrolled in the Logoi-Flet Christian College
and Seminary by extension with whom I will be working. On the weekend I
will preach at a couple of churches.
April 27 New Covenant Fellowship, Harrisburg, PA
April 28-May 4 Coral Ridge PCA, Ft. Lauderdale, Fl (miss.conf.)
May 18 Stony Point PCA, Richmond, VA
June 7 Hope PCA, Lawrenceville, NJ (Saturday miss. conf)
During the week of March 3 we expect to go to Miami and look for housing,
test and interview Daniel at a Christian school there, and have some talks
with Logoi-Flet about my trip to Cuba and the work ahead. I also expect to
look for housing around the dates of my trip to Cuba in April.
Prayer Requests:
- That Robyn and I enjoy very special times of prayer and feeding on
God's Word together. We have enjoyed this period of time to read some good
books.
- Pray for the Christian formation of our children. That academic
excellence will accompany godliness.
- For safety in my travels and enjoyment and excitement as I interact
with you our supporters, about our future ministry.
- That we may find the right house for us in Miami, and that our
transition their may go smoothly.
- For greater understanding of Hispanics in this country as I prepare
my talks for March 28. And that I may organize and prepare the intensive
course for Cuba so as to give clear and helpful classes. That God will
empower me to stir their hearts with the gospel.
- That I may be productive in advancing the Third Millenium Project
and the Sunday School Project.
- That the Cristo Rey Church in Santiago, Chile may be kept from evil
and that they may find the pastor that they need so desperately.
Thank you very much for your faithfulness in prayer and in financial
support. Our new prayer cards have been printed and you may request them
from Mission to the World. Don't forget to check our web page.
