Thank you so much for your prayers.  More than 50 couples came to the seminar. Robyn and I spoke on "Ten Principles to Develop Intimacy in Your Marriage".  I stressed our need for the gospel as we can only love our spouse to this degree as He works His Grace in us.  The Holy Spirit was at work and as Pastor Arbolaez gave an invitation at the end, one couple gave their lives to Christ.  There were many other couples there that had not come to church before.  Thank you for your prayers that the gospel would be made clear!!

Please pray for the region of Venezuela, Colombia, and Ecuador

When we went to West Palm Beach we made contact with a Venezuelan army captain and his family.  We knew them 10 years ago when he was getting advanced training at the Chilean military academy.  He and his wife were in our young married group at the Cristo Rey Church during that year.  Yet what happened to him is very revealing of the plight Venezuela is going through.   When he returned to active military service, it wasn´t long before he was put in jail for two years.  The reason?, on a visit to the border with Brazil and Colombia, the minister of defense asked him why his soldiers looked so weak and unfit, to which he replied that they hadn´t received their rations for 8 months.  He was then accused for not cooperating with the official plan of the government (to support the rebel forces (the Colombian "FARC") and demoralize the official army).  After two years he was temporarily let go because the false witness they employed against him changed his story proclaiming him innocent.   The witness later received four bullets.  Later, men appeared at his house to "arrest" him, yet he managed to escape last June and make it into the United States.  He has received political asylum here and has just now been joined by his wife and children.  They believe God had protected them miraculously through all of this and expressed much gratitude for their Spiritual formation as they passed through our Cristo Rey church in Santiago.   They were encouraged to to hear that we recommended Daniel Arbolaez´s church and pastoral care.
As you may have heard in the news this week, it has become evident that Hugo Chavez is supporting the "FARC" (the revolutionary armed forces of Colombia that has been terrorizing the region and abducting people to finance their operations.  We have many FLET students in these countries.  Pray that the teaching they are receiving will strengthen the churches there with a firm grasp and hope in the Gospel.
What´s Up?:

Miami ClassMarriage class: (March 25ff)
Please continue to pray as we prepare the Marriage Intimacy class and for a good number to come to the weekly class given here in Miami.

Visit to churches:
I very much enjoyed my visits to Ft. Lauderdale, Fl, Greenville, SC, and Colorado Springs, CO in February and March.  I was very encouraged in seeing many of you again and knowing some new partners in ministry.  It is as the body of Christ that we carry out the Great Commission, and we are blessed with a great team.  Thank you so very much.
My itineration schedule is not very full. This is what we have confirmed so far:
April 6   - Covenant PCA - Sun City West, AZ
June 8   - Murrysville Community Church, Murrysville, PA
          - Calvin PCA - North Huntingdon, PA
Nov. 8,9 - New Covenant Fellowship, Mechanicsburg, PA

Other visits are in the process of being planned.  Please let us know when it would be convenient to report in your church.

How we do appreciate your prayers. "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places" (Eph.6:12).

In His Loving Grip,

Richard Crane
