Richard & Robyn CraneCrane Family News - April 28, 2007 Update on Daniel´s Surgery Dear brothers and sisters in Christ Daniel´s surgery went well. Yet the operation took over three hours and it was a complicated procedure. The bone fragment was rotated and three screws were inserted to put it in place. He woke up from the anesthesia with tremendous pain yet that was put under control fairly quickly and recuperated well over the week. We praise the Lord that he has full feeling and movement in his hand and the nerve was not damaged. Yet today when we went for the follow-up, the x-ray showed that the bone fragment had moved away from the bone since the time of the operation leaving a gap that is of concern if bone matter does not fill in properly over the next few weeks. The post operation x-ray showed a very tight fit when the surgery was done, thus the separation developed in the course of the week. Needless to say we were very disappointed to see this. We know that Daniel is in God´s hands and we ask your prayers that He will glorify Himself in Daniel´s life, molding him in Christ´s likeness through this experience. Thank you for your continued prayers. I have attached a picture of the three of us taken this past Christmas (see below). You may also want to see the updates of our granddaughter Tasanee in the following blog: http://www.jc2photo.com/blog/Site%202/Tasanee%27s%20first%20year.html . Tasanee (and her mother - Janette :) ) will come from Houston to visit us for three weeks on May 1st. This will be Daniel's first time to meet his niece. We are all looking forward to their visit. Jonathan and Susana plan to come down to see her from Tampa. Just in case you think I am only caught up with family matters, in the next couple days I will send to you another E-mail with our ministry update and translated testimonies from students taking my courses. They are very encouraging. Thank you again for your prayers In His loving Care Richard
