Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

I have just sent to our Web master a number of pictures and comments of my trip to El Salvador in May. You can check the page in a day or so - http://mtwla.org/people/rcrane2-pl/05jul/

Thank you very much for your prayers and continued support of our ministry. It is always stimulating to see Christ's body in different parts of the world and to notice the large networking of God's people. One of my students in San Salvador is a Salvadorian missionary in Rumania who was back for a couple of months. He was so enthused with the class that he wants me to go to Rumania to teach for a few weeks - I would teach in Spanish and he would translate to Rumanian. I'll let you know what develops.

I've been spending quite a bit of time correcting papers at the home office. This gets very tedious until you read some very personal testimonies among these. Yesterday I received one from a woman in California that is taking our courses. She says that in 1992 she met a man, got married, and they came to the US - all within a couple of months. They did not know Christ, and soon she was very lonely in a country and people that were so foreign to her. Their marriage turned to the worse and she became very depressed. In God's providence she ended in a church where she came to know Christ through English classes that were offered there. Later she also enrolled in FLET and in the counseling course discovered Grace and the excitement of understanding justification by faith. As I read her paper my spirits were lifted and I found myself praising God for the opportunity to grade papers!! Who would have thought!!

Robyn, Daniel, and I are going to Pennsylvania tonight to spend time with family and visit a couple supporting churches this coming Sunday and the next. We will be in Quarryville and Philadelphia. Joe and Janette, who have now moved to Houston, Texas, will join us all next weekend, as well as Susana who will fly up next weekend. We look forward to this family reunion.

Thank you very much for your continued support for our ministry and for Flet Universidad. Please continue to pray for Flet and its financial need - we pray every morning for this, yet the lack of funds is becoming a crisis.

In His loving Grip

Richard Crane
