Dear Praying Friends,

Please pray for the big evangelistic event in San José el Alto happening tomorrow (Saturday) morning.

We have passed out flyers inviting families to come worship, hear the word of God, and receive clothing and shoes.

As I (Amy) write this, Robert is there now helping to wipe down chairs and power wash the floor of the "bodega," a partially constructed warehouse which will eventually be a school in this developing neighborhood. Last week we helped put together gift bags for each family containing donated items of clothing, kitchen tools, a pair of shoes, and some evangelistic tracts.

Please join us in praying for the following things:

1. Pray for true spiritual conversions as Christ calls people to himself.
2. Pray that at least 100 families will be represented at the event.
3. Pray that people will be inspired to holiness by the story from 1 Samuel about David forgiving his enemy Saul, though he had opportunity and pressure to seek vengeance by killing him.
4. Pray for Robert and me as we tell this story in Spanish to a dozen four- and five-year-olds. :) Pray that Sophia behaves.
5. Pray that God will be glorified tomorrow through the giving of donated gifts, the corporate worship of neighbors in San José el Alto, and the preaching of Truth.
