Thank you for your prayers for us and our ministry.
We're thankful for some vacation time with had with family around
Christmas and New Years. It was refreshing.
Please pray for the following:
- We have two missions conferences coming up in February. At one of
them I will be the main speaker. Please pray for us as we seek to
serve the people in these churches.
- We will probably be attending another missions conference in March.
- Pray for the MTW Latin America Leadership Team as we try to
promote greater synergy across the region.
- Pray for me and for Rodney Davila as we help different teams
throughout Latin America develop leadership training programs.
- For example, pray for Caleb Dunn as he seeks to implement a
training program for national leaders in Ciudad Victoria, Mexico.
- Pray for Jorge Aleman, a Mexican leader in Monterrey that MTW
works with. He is trying to implement a training program for church
planters in that city. I will be making a trip there in a few months
to speak to the pastors in the area about training. At another date
in the not too distant future, I will also be speaking about training
to the US network of churches that supports this work in Monterrey.
- Please continue to pray for the tedious process of transcribing
interviews for my dissertation. As soon as I get done with this and
have analyzed the data, I will be making another trip to Mexico to
get more data.
Training national leaders is one of the big issues before us in Latin
America, and this is the issue I'm giving most of my attention to as
Resource Team Leader for Latin America. To see some of my thoughts on
training, go to the following website: http://partners.waldecker.net/

Thanks again for your support of us and the ministry the Lord has given us.
