Thank you very much for your prayers for us and our ministry with
Mission to the World.
Last week I attended the MTW LEAD conference designed for the MTW
field leadership worldwide. I sense a growing awareness of the
implications of having a gospel driven ministry, which is
encouraging. At two different times during the week I presented a
seminar on training pastors and church planters in the context of
ministry and with a Christ-centered focus. Both times there seemed to
be a lot of interest and there was a very good discussion of the
issues, and I received invitations to present the material in
different parts of the world.
Phyllis and I enjoyed visiting two supporting churches in the
Philadelphia area this last weekend. It was good to catch up with
friends and meet some new people. We realize there are a number of
churches we still need to visit.
Andrea and Audrey are in London this week on a missions trip with
their uncle and cousin. My brother and his family are in the process
of raising support to go to London as missionaries. Pray for their
safety at this especially volatile time, as well as for their growth
and strength from the Lord to serve.
Please pray for me especially during the next two weeks as I prepare
a number of papers that are due on December 5-6, the end of this
semester. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed.
Thanks again for your support of us in our ministry.
