The Waldecker Family Update
April 6, 2000

The meeting with the Pentecostal leaders went even better than I had expected. They wanted to plan another meeting at which they would bring other people. This meeting is planned for April 15th.

Phyllis and I left last Sunday (April 2) for Lima and spent the next two days with our missionaries there. We enjoyed our visit and felt it was a very profitable time. We talked about philosophy of ministry, contextualization and working together as a team.

On Wednesday morning we got up at 3 AM to get to the airport in time to catch our plane to Bogota, where we are now. Our visit has been enjoyable, and the meetings have seemed to be beneficial-- for the most part the same topics as in Lima. Please pray for the rest of our visit here and for our missionaries in these two places. We will be leaving for home on Saturday. On Monday, after returning home to Santiago, we will need to make a trip to Vina del Mar -- a two hour drive from Santiago. Please pray for us in this visit also.

Our children are at home and some friends from the first church we planted in Santiago many years ago are staying with them.

Thanks very much for your prayers.
