Gary & Carol Nantt #15400
Gary was born in Lodi, California. He graduated from Sacramento State College and attended Reformed Seminary in Jackson, MS receiving an M.Div. Carol was born in Miami, FL. Since her father was in the US Air Force, she attended several colleges. Gary and Carol met while attending Sacramento State College. They have two children: Aimee and Bradley.
Both Gary and Carol felt God calling them overseas, so they joined MTW in 1977 for service in South Korea. When the goals for that work were reached, MTW closed the field.
In 1994, they began ministering in Mexico beginning in Cd. Juarez and continuing in Tijuana, where they live in order to serve Baja California and San Diego County, CA. Gary has become the official mentor of the Mexican presbytery, advising many of the pastors, giving conferences on various subjects in the churches and teaching in the Presbyterian seminaries in Tijuana and Mexicali. Carol is helping this ministry by providing CMI Children's Catechism materials in Spanish to various churches.
They are excited to see Spanish-speaking churches being planted, and their vision is to have a church-planting network that will reach Spanish-speakers in Baja California and beyond.
