Cam grew up in Northern Wisconsin, where he was raised in a Christian home. The gospel grabbed his heart at a very young age; however, it was not until the defining years of high school that Cam made a real step forward in his faith. Following high school, Cam attended Moody Bible Institute, where he received his BA in biblical languages. After graduating from Moody, Cam moved to California, where he has been working with a PCA church and under the care of the Northern California Presbytery.

Cam is now beginning a new season in his life of service as he moves to work with Mission to the World in Bogotá, Colombia. Colombia is a country that has been ripped apart by war and poverty. Due to this suffering, its people are hungry to hear the gospel. Cam will be working in a church plant with a Colombian national, planting a church near the local university.
