Bill & Sherry Day #011705
Hispanic Ministry Coordinator
Bill became a Christian in his twenties while in the US Air Force after a fellow airman witnessed to him. Sherry accepted the Lord in her late twenties and up until that time had never heard any part of the gospel.
They began their missionary work in 1987, spending their first term in Papua New Guinea. After that term they took an assignment as church planters in Belize, Central America. Bill served as the pastor in two churches, including the San Narciso Church, which was particularized in February 2003 – an exciting day in their ministry!
After serving in Belize for nine years, their goals of seeing the church planted and a national pastor in place were reached, and they accepted a new assignment in the United States.
Bill now serves as the Hispanic ministry coordinator for churches desiring to establish ministries that reach out to the Hispanic community with the long-term goal of assisting them in establishing reformed Hispanic PCA churches.
The Days have six grown sons and they adopted four Belizean children (siblings) in 2003: Jacinto (Frankie) – 5/30/97, Estevan (Sonny) – 5/18/93, Virginia – 9/29/91, Juanaria – 7/11/88.
