I hope this email finds you well. I just wanted to give you a quick update on my preparations for Peru. God has been so faithful to me. and it is exciting to see how things are lining up! I am leaving tomorrow for part of my training with MTW, and this time it is to Honduras (prayer requests for that to come).

Many of you have been praying for my car to sell; the Lord has not seen fit for it to be sold yet and He keeps me holding on to Him and His timing, He has kept me resting in Him. So be encouraged that although my car isn't sold yet, He is strengthening my faith!

My time visiting my friends and Christian family in Sebring,FL earlier this month was such a special time. The Lord truly encouraged me through His people. My best summary of my week there is that I was "overloved." (This is the city I was raised in)

My teammate Laura Hoyt, who is raising support to serve in Lima, has just learned that the Lord has provided enough of her support that she will be able to go through cross cultural training at the same time with me.

As I mentioned, I am leaving for Honduras tomorrow for MTW's Advanced Medical Leadership training for a week. The week will consist of many seminars/classes, and two days of clinics, rural and urban. MTW staff, and many doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals are attending this training. Please pray for our health, safety, and travel. Pray that during this time of educational training that the Lord will give us His medical wisdom so we may then use it to bring Him glory by serving others. Pray for the people who will come to the clinics, that they will hear about Christ.

Pray that my car will sell by the end of May, as I will be leaving my job mid-May for 4 weeks straight of training.

Pray that in my eagerness to get to Peru, I will savor my time here, absorb His wisdom in all my training, make the most of my opportunities to serve Him, and not rush this time away.
