Surrounded by a wonderful gospel community, Bonnie became a believer during her teenage years in Port St. Joe, Florida. While in college at Troy University, God began developing within her a heart for the nations through her involvement in Campus Outreach. As part of the college ministry, God used summer training projects to Central Asia and Guadalajara, Mexico to further ignite Bonnie’s interest in missions. During her tenure at Troy she also lettered for the softball team and received her degree in social work before beginning her master’s in education at the University of Florida.
